Our business is located in Kitahama, the gateway to the hot springs town of Beppu.It is situated conveniently, a ten minute walk away from Beppu Station.
Yuuhi has a history of over 90 years and I am the third generation in the lineage.
In addition to the cooking at the hotel restaurant Toyotsune, I procure the ingredients daily myself, to bring our customers quality foods from the ocean and mountains that surround Beppu at a good price.
Since six years ago, I also run Keisuikyo at Gettouan in Yufuin.I hope you pay us a visit there, too.

The Bungo Channel connects the Seto Inland Sea and the Pacific Ocean. It is home to a rich fishing area, owing to its intricate topography and meeting of warm and cold ocean currents. The seafood caught in the Bungo Channel is always in great condition. We focus on using such local ingredients, full of seasonal flavor.
In order to bring out the seasonal flavor, we use the cooking method which will allow our customers to enjoy the ingredients in its absolute best condition. Whether its sashimi (raw), tempura (fried), nitsuke (cooked) or tsuke (marinated), we will provide the best ingredients and the best hospitality.
It is a hearty dish with two jumbo shrimp and four types of vegetables. Its popularity lies in its secret sauce.
